COLIN HARE, NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT, 1971
NOTHIG TO WRITE HOME ABOUT
Wonder why she went away,
Wonder why she wouldn’t stay,
Oh, I would have loved her anyway.
Playing games was not my scene,
But how she loved just to act the queen,
Oh, it wasn’t as it might have been.
She wasn’t bright,
She wasn’t anything to write home about,
Suddenly she seemed like everything,
I had ever needed.
Wonder why she had to go,
She was made but I was slow,
Oh, how I’d really like to know.
